The Middle Reef (20/40 feet)
This reef is located in the middle of Herradura Bay. There are many goat fish, damsels, small snappers and puffers. It is the perfect site for beginners.
The Garden (15/60 feet)
A large reef with various dive sites, named for it's many sea fans and big rocks where you will find lobsters, schools of surgeons and jacks as well as moray eels and grunts.
The Backyard (20/100 feet)
A little west of the garden this reef starts at 100 feet and ends up at 20 with a twin pinnacle. Here you will see eagle rays, spotted and electric rays as well as large schools of fish.
Pesebre (30/70 feet)
Diving along both sides of a large rock and between many channels you will have the chance to see surgeons, grunts, snappers and sting rays, as well as white tip sharks and giant manta rays.
Cuevitas (30/70 feet)
This dive site is on the west side of the Herradura island. Cuevitas means "Little Caves" and in many of them it's easy to find white tip sharks and morray eels and swimming near the surface, barracudas and manta rays.
Guapinol (30/50 feet)
A reef made of different big rocks wich attracts, when in their season, manta rays. Due to its position is not accessible when there is swell.
Aplastada (7/50 feet)
A flat rock in shallow waters where there are schools of snappers, grunts and surgeons. Due to the shallow depth of the location it is only accesible during calm days.
Tortuga Island (40/90 feet)
This Island is located 15 miles north-west of Herradura Bay, and is famous for its whitesand beches and plenty of marine life. We can find hard coral, sea fans, big animals suchas white tip sharks, giant manta rays, sting rays, eagle rays, turtles, barracudas and a lot more.
